Holy Smoke I just finish reading this book, and I love it, I have to be honest I have not read the first book, but now I really want to read it, I am a fan of Author Sawyer Bennett, I love her style of writing, and this book just made me fall in love with it, I love it from the first page to the last, I love the characters and love how the book turn out to be, I'm gone keep this short since I don't want to give anything away.
Brody just got out of prison after 5 years, for vehicular homicide, from a promise future in medicine he had everything he wanted, but now he just move in to a small apartment studio, within minutes of being at his new place, his parole officer Jimbo Peaks shows up, to see how his doing and to ask him some question, after asking him if he pick up what to do for community service, Brody tells him to pick something out and to let him know, on the other end Alyssa is having a really bad day, Alyssa is best friends with Brody's sister-in-law, she runs the Haven no-kill animal shelter and struggles on her own to keep on top of the daily tasks, that's when she find out that the only one that is free to help her out is Brody, that's when their life changes.
I love the way that Brody and Alyssa act with each other, I love it when Brody finally open up to Alyssa, and when they cave in for their feelings, love it how you could feel the love that they have for each other, Author Sawyer Bennett THANK YOU for introducing me to this awesome characters and this amazing book love it.
