Isabella Delvino is not your typical author.  Although she did not spend her childhood with her nose in a book, she was always creating stories in her head.  Her first "publishing success" was winning a monthly writing contest for BOP magazine at the age of fifteen.  It was a very short paragraph (about a certain boy band) but she won.  No, she hasn't been writing ever since but hey, better late than never.  Isabella graduated from The University of Southern California and has been a career Stay-At-Home mom and proud of it.  She lives with her husband, two kids and three dogs in A suburb of Los Angeles.  She's usually reading, watching Netflix and cuddling with her kids.  You can catch her at Starbucks every Wednesday at 3:15 or there abouts.

I have to say this is the first book that I get to read from this author. and I want to say THANK YOU Angie Stanton for introducing me to this amazing book and this awesome characters. cant wait to read more of your books

I just finish reading this book and I really like it, this is a really good Christmas story, this is a really cute story it has some comedy, romance, and it will warm your heart out, I love the characters love how the scene play out, and love how the characters and everything grow into place.

The story begins with student collage Katie Brandt, all Katie wanted was to go home for the holidays, but no what she got was going to the north to spend her first Christmas without her parents being together, since her parents got separated all she new about Christmas tradition just when down the hill, and she had to go to her mom " not boyfriend" house in the north, and Katie was not liking the idea.

That's when Alex Walker comes to the picture, Alex was heading the same way as Katie so he agree to give her a ride, a complete stranger that he did not know her at all, Alex was dredging to go back home just because his girlfriend but he new he had to deal with her and get it over with.

During the ride Katie and Alex started to get to know each other, and they started to notice that they where attracted to each other, I have to say that Katie and Alex when through a lot while they where trying to get home, but they end up having the best Christmas and the best time of their life.

I really love this story and I am so happy that I got to read it. I hope that once you get to read it that you get to enjoy it and love it as much as I did.

When all hope for moving on from a life filled with pain was gone, Emily Watson closed herself off to the world, packed her bags, and moved across the country in search of a new life. What she found was a career she adored and friends whom she loved. It wasn't a full and complete life, but it was definitely better than what she knew before.

When all hope for being loved and accepted for who he was instead of what he had was gone, Taylor Carter decided that trusting people outside of his family wasn't really smart and would only lead to disappointment. With his world turned upside down, his life became about his work, and every new relationship was meaningless and superficial. He was safe, and definitely content, but never truly happy.

When all hope for staying awake during a long day was gone, Emily and Taylor found themselves at the same coffee cart. Little did they know then that the worst coffee they'd ever drank would forever change their lives.

When hopeless people are blinded by an endless pain. When contentment and safety feels like the best option, and love seems impossible, they may just find an EXCEPTION.

My Review

ExceptionException by Patty Maximini
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

**** I received an ARC copy for an honest review ****

First I have to say this is the first book that I read from this author. and I have to say it is not what I was expecting, I like the book its a long book but it was good, I am gone keep this short cause I don't want to give anything away, this book is funny, charming, witty, the characters are unique, and you never know what's gone happened next.

Emily Watson life was filled with pain and abuse, and almost losing hope, that's when she decide to packed up and move across the country, that's when she found a career she love and made new friends, and started having hopes on her new life.

Taylor Carter oh what can I say about Taylor, he end up losing hope on being loved and accepted, for who he was instead, that's when he decide to stop trusting the people that was not his family, and decide to focused on his work.

That's when Emily and Taylor end up meeting on a coffee cart, and let me just say that the coffee tasted bad, but that did not matter from their they end up getting to know each other, what they where not expecting was for their life to turned up side down and change for ever.

I really enjoy and like this book and I hope that once you read it that you enjoy it and like as much as I did. THANK YOU Author Patty Maximini for introducing me to this great characters and this great book.
