Synopsis

How can you continue living when you’re living a lie? How can you convince your body to stop feeling, your soul to stop caring, and your heart to stop beating? Haunted by her past, Olivia Adler flees Boston for a beach in Florida, leaving everyone behind, trying to shut the world out. Remaining a relative recluse in her self-imposed prison, she tries to turn everything off, wanting to feel nothing. But a new acquaintance won’t let that happen. After being away from Alexander for a month, his voice constantly ringing in her head, reminding her that her inability to confront her demons will not only destroy her, but also him, can she really be expected to want to feel again when it brings nothing but pain? Back in Boston, everywhere he turns, Alexander Burnham is reminded of Olivia… His Olivia… He tries to dull the ache left in his heart the only way he knows how… in the bed of a beautiful woman. But Alexander isn’t about to lose his Olivia. After a clue comes to light regarding Olivia’s whereabouts, can he convince her to return to Boston with him? When a force that has laid dormant for months resurfaces, can Alexander still protect her from the unknown danger? And when Alexander comes face to face with a shadow of both his and Olivia’s past, will he be able to tell her the secret that is threatening to tear them apart? A Tragic Wreck is the continuation of T.K. Leigh’s heart-breakingBeautiful Mess series.

“Libby, wait!” Cam cried, running down the stairs and into the kitchen. He watched as Olivia opened a semi-full bottle of whiskey and drank straight from it. “What are you doing?”

She took a breath before throwing the bottle back, drinking more. “What does it look like?! This is the only thing that takes those fucking dreams away, Cam!” she cried out, her hands shaking. “How the fuck would you feel if, every night, you watch your parents die?! EVERY! FUCKING! NIGHT!” Her cries became more and more desperate with each breath. “And then you see the person who saved you and you don’t know who the fuck it is, but you know that you should! I don’t know how much longer I can do this,” she moaned, sinking down to the kitchen floor, clutching the bottle in her hand as if her life depended on it.

Cam lowered himself to the ground and sat next to her. He leaned against the cabinets and watched with sympathy as she threw back the bottle once more, taking another long drag. He said quietly, “You know, there are pills that you can try if you don’t want those dreams anymore.”
She shook her head vehemently, her sobs heavy. “No. I’m not going to use chemicals.

My doctor already gave me valium, which I refuse to take, to help with the panic attacks.”
He raised his eyebrows. “So, then, what’s the deal with that whiskey bottle you’re holding?”
“Fuck you,” she spat out, glaring at him.

Cam sighed, placing his arm around her shoulders, trying to comfort her. “Sorry, Libby. I just hate to see you upset. Tell me what I can do and I’ll do it.”

Olivia took another swig of the bottle. “Nothing, Cam. There is nothing you can do. There is nothing anyone can do. This is my fucking life. I destroy people so you should stay far away from me because I’ll just destroy you, too.” She stood up and threw the now empty whiskey bottle into the garbage before walking over to the window, staring out into the dark ocean. She noticed a black SUV parked a few hundred yards down the sandy road. Her heart fell as she stumbled over to the couch, falling flat on her stomach. She was emotionally drained. She wanted to shut it all off. Why did he have to come to her island and find her?

“Easy, Libby.” Cam scurried off the kitchen floor and into the living room, kneeling down next to the couch.

“I’m broken, Cam,” Olivia slurred, turning her head to look at him. “I’m broken and he keeps popping up. I can’t make it fucking stop.”

5 Stars  For Both Books

***** I received an ARC copy for an exchange of an honest review *****

Holy Smoke I just finish reading this book and I am loving these series, I have to say I love how the series begging. and love it how its continuing in this book, I love the characters and love it how they are new characters in this book, and those characters just make you wanted to guess whose the good guy and whose the bad guy I am totally loving this book.

I have to say that this book got me mad at the begging, I was so mad at the main characters Olivia and Alexander, but I love every minute of it, I also cried a little, their is so much Drama going on in this book that this is the right name for this book.

This book picks up right where the first one ( A BEUTIFUL MESS ) end. Its start with Olivia at the beach house where she made her scape to, that's where she meets Cameron (AKA) Cam she becomes good friend with him at the same time trying to forget about Alexander. In the mean time Alexander end up hooking up with an old friends, one afternoon after searching for any clue of where Olivia might be, Alexander gets his answer and he go in search for her, this is where the twist of this story comes and will have you crying and mad at the same time.

in this book you get to see how much Olivia is suffering, and you get to see they pain that she is going through, and its not just Olivia, Alexander is also in pain and hurting and doing what Olivia wanted her to do which is to move on. But the story gets more interested after one horrible afternoon she gets news that make her go back to Boston and fight for Alexander. The question is would he take her back and forgive her or did he really moved on and no longer care for Olivia.

I really enjoy and love reading this book, now I am just ready to read the final book of this series. I said it once I am gone say it again Author T.K. Leigh THANK YOU for this wonderful, amazing, great characters and book and for giving me the chance to read it.

A Beautiful Mess

***** I received an ARC copy for an exchange of an honest review *****

First let me just say that this is the first book that I read from this author.

Wow just finish reading this book, and let me just say that I couldn't put the book down, I love it love the characters and love how the beginning of this series started. Their is just so much going on in this story that you would be wondering what will happened next. This book has a little of everything Romance, Drama, Mystery and Action, and the Sex scene are hot, I am gone keep this short since I don't want to give anything away.

The story begging with Olivia, Olivia is getting her things ready to go meet up with her best friend for drinks, during her time out with friend she ran into someone that she hooked up with, she told him it was over he did not take that very well, after having drinks with her friend she told her best friend that she was going back to her office that she needed to get her stuff for the weekend, when she was searching for her key to open the building door she got attack.

Alexander couldn't sleep so he decide to go to his building, once he was walking down the quiet street he heard the screaming of a woman, he saw that she was being chase so his Seal training kick in, after he took care of the problem he saw the woman for the first time, he couldn't believe that he was staring at the same eyes that he woken up from that night, he took Olivia up to his office to clean and bandage her cut What they both did not expected was their life was gone get complicated, Alexander couldn't stop thinking about that Olivia could be the same Olivia that stole his heart when he was kid.

I love how Alexander and Olivia are with each other, and love it how you get to read this book from different point of view and you wont get confuse at all, love it how Olivia let Alexander in and how scare she is of all the new feelings that she having, I really enjoy and love reading this book and now I am ready to read the second book. Author T.K. Leigh THANK YOU for introducing me to this wonderful characters and this amazing great book I love it.
