“How dare you look at me
like that?”
Chase sat with steepled
fingers. He lounged back into the chair and thoughtfully eyed her. “Like what?”
He patiently waited, but when she didn’t take the bait, he decided to give the
line a little tug. “You know,” he leaned forward ready to reel her in, “you
didn’t have to accept my invitation to come home with me from the hospital. You
could have fought just a bit harder to get me out of the bed, and you didn’t
have to kiss me back. And, you definitely didn’t have to beg me to touch you.
But you did all of those things, and you can’t tell me you didn’t like the
results.”
Her eyebrows lowered and
drew together. “Says you!”
As her fury heightened,
he couldn’t resist giving the line yet another tug, a little harder this time.
“That’s what you’re really angry about it, isn’t it? That you liked it? That
you like me?”
“Why, you…!” Her hands
clenched at her sides. “I’m leaving!” She turned on the balls of her feet.
“You want me, Jessina,
and you hate it,” he taunted, attempting to anger her enough to stay, to fight
him.
His efforts successful,
she whipped back around. “I don’t—”
“You don’t hate
it?” He smiled in triumph, cutting her off, and admitting that his fake wife
was, hands down, a beautiful woman when she was angry.
“No! Before you rudely
interrupted me what I was going to say was that I don’t want you, you
arrogant son-of-a-bitch!”
“Jess, you most certainly
do, but what you really hate, what really is pissing you off here, is that it
just proves what I said before.”
“Yeah? And what the hell
is that?”
“That I don’t make it a
habit to want a woman who doesn’t want me. I told you. I’m just not built that
way…

I just finish reading this book, and I love it his is a Fun, Sexy, Romantic story, I love the characters, love it how you could read from both point of view, I really had fun reading this book, it had me laughing, love the teasing that was going on through the story I just love it.
Jessina was walking out of the airport with her suitcase ( A.K.A.) Troublemaker, when she was stop by the very sexy handsome of Chase, when she asked him what he was doing Chase told her that she took his suitcase. Jessina told him that was her suitcase and prove it, few months later Jessina found her self in Chase company, it appear that they got married and she wanted an annulment, when Chase saw her again he couldn't believe it that she was their, and he was gone do everything he could to keep her their.
I love the way that Jessina and Chase tease each other, love the chemistry that they have from the start, and the sexual tension that they are holding from each other, just to see who will explode first, love Jessina attitude love it how she stand up to him and how she don't put up with his crap, love it how turn on Chase gets every time that Jessina is angry, and love it how he would do thing just to get her mad, but I also love it how they start falling in love with each other without realizing it.
I really enjoy and love this book, author Kelly Gendron THANK YOU once again for this amazing characters and this awesome book. I cant wait to read more of these series.
