Excerpts #1

I sit on the small grassy patch next to his grave, unaware of how I arrived here, why I’m
here, or even how long I will remain. So much has changed in my life over the last year. First,
I lost my mortal husband, Joe. Shortly thereafter, a Nephilim warrior named Eli swooped in
like a whirlwind, turning my life inside out. I rub my hand across the smooth granite
headstone, stopping to trace his name with my fingers. Joseph Adam Wilkins Born October
16, 1974 Died August 10, 2011. It was raining the day of his funeral as if the heavens grieved
over his passing. I smile, remembering the life we shared, a time when I was oblivious
regarding the supernatural world, believing I was merely human, and not the last female
warrior of the Nephilim race. It is strange how life unfolds, nothing is predictable when it
involves me, a fact I am learning to accept.
I lift my head and look around the cemetery. It looks different from how I remembered
it. My internal alarm blares loudly inside my head. I have learned to trust my instinctive
warnings. I scan the area, assessing the perimeters for threats. I hear rustling in the nearby
trees behind me. I turn to investigate; my vision is superb so I am puzzled why I can’t make
out the face of the shadowy figure in the trees. My hand, still resting on the headstone,
suddenly feels damp and slippery. I lift my hand to my face; blood covers it, but whose blood?

Author Interview with K.A. Young-Write Away Bliss-

Can you tell us a little about the series?
Sure, the series begins many years after a great war between the Nephilim and yetzer hara
(Red eyed, rotting flesh creatures that are the embodiment of evil). The Nephilim were forced
to hide the children during the war in order to protect them and hide the identity of the last
living female warrior of the race. The series is an exhilarating and sexy adventure into their
world and beyond.

Who is your favorite character in the Nephilim Warrior Series?
I would have to say it is a toss up between Elise and Torch. Both are uniquely wonderful in
very different ways. Who do you most identify with? I identify a little with each of my
characters in one way or another.

If readers love The Fever Series and the Immortal’s After Dark, they’ll love your book.

Do you have a favorite time of day to write?
I don’t have a favorite time of day to write. I write anytime and every chance I get.

What are your plans for after the Nephilim Warrior Series?
I’m currently working on the spin off of the Nephilim Warrior Series. Coven (The Elise
Michaels Series, #1) is due to release on October 4th with book 2 to follow shortly.

***** I received an ARC copy of this book for an honest review *****

Holy smoke I am in love with this series, I read the first book and I love it now I finish reading this one and I love it even more, I am gone keep this short because I don't want to give anything away.

I love the characters, I really like that this book pick up right where it end it, and love how the story turned out, I like it that we get to read more about the supernatural, and how we get to learned a little bit more of them I just love it and I really enjoy this book, I couldn't put it down and I did not wanted to finish reading it that's how good this book is.

In the first book we get to meet the character of Anna, she is the last female warrior of the Nephilim and she is getting used to living with them, now she is learning how to control her powers and learn how to fight and the most important she is learning about her new role as Queen.

I love the characters of Eli and Nyoka, now this two are still at each other's throats for Anna and I love it how they get on each other minds, I like it when Nyoka always trying to think something just to get a rise out of Eli. and love it how Eli get to lose his temper so quick.

I really like the bond that Anna and Eli have, love how Eli is always their to protect and fight for Anna and the way that he cares for her, I love it how Anna also feel the same way for him. I really did enjoy this book and love it how this book has it twist with Anna that sometime she don't know who to trust at all. I like how this book have a little of everything sexy, aggressive nepilim, witty sorceress, blood lusting vampires, phantoms, werewolves and other creatures that live among the humans.
