"Let’s spar, Torch." I faced him with determination.
He threw his head back and laughed. "You think you’re strong enough to take me on now, do you?"
I knew I wasn’t stronger than he, but in learning to control my flame, I had gained the
knowledge that I was faster. The warrior inside the flame gave me confidence as she became
one with me.
"You’re not afraid, are you?" I winked at him and then walked over to the wall, taking two
sparring sticks off the rack, and tossed one to Torch. I sauntered back over to him, swaying
my hips.

Author Interview K.A. Young
-Fallen angels are very in right now. I see that part of the inspiration was from the bible, but what made you
pick angels over the other hot paranormal creatures out there now? The Nephilim are unique due to the
fact that they are the children of both human and supernatural beings. I found the idea to be extremely
inspiring and a ton of fun to write about.
- When did you begin writing? My entire life I have always been working on one project or another. I
honestly can’t remember a time in my life when I wasn’t writing.
-Authors have different ways of helping themselves write. Special rooms, music etc. Do you have any
routines that help you? Music is incredibly inspiring to me during the writing process. There is always
something playing in the background while I’m deep in a scene. My playlists range from Nickleback/ Puddle
of Mud Pandora or itunes radio for fight scenes to Nora Jones for the love scenes.
-If you were to be stuck alone with one of characters, which one? I have a real thing for the bad boys, so I
would have to say Torch. Torch and I would have a whole lot of fun together. ;)
-Covers mean a lot to readers, what would you say is your favorite cover of your books? My favorite cover
is the one I created for Coven.
-Spin offs are very popular with readers. You're releasing a spin off series soon, what has it been like to be
able to remain in the same world but play with different characters and ideas? Writing from Elise’s point of
view is a total blast! I love her spunk, zeal for life and how she relates to the world around her.
-If you had to pick one book to read for the rest of your life what would it be? Wow, that’s a tuff one. I
would probably choose a classic like Gone With The Wind. It’s one of those novels that it doesn’t matter
how many times you read it, it’s always reads like the masterpiece that it is.
-Any spoilers you can share with us? Maybe just one, I have it on good authority that the dead may literally
rise in Book 2 of the Elise Michaels Series…
About the Author-
K.A. Young is a paranormal/ urban fantasy romance author that lives with her family in the
South. She began writing because her mind was swimming with incredible stories that were
begging to be told. Her love for reading began as a small child when she realized that a good

OMG this is the first book that I get to read from this author, and I love it but what can I say I love anything that has to do supernatural. this story was well writing with some very Hot scene. I really enjoy this book and have to say I couldnt put the book down, I just want more .
I love the characters, like how the story beggings of Anna just being a normal woman who was married, and a house wife but everything change when her husband was killed, she started to learn things from a different world that she was used to, now she has to learned how to live in this world where vampire, warewolfs and other supernatural exist.
Anna Wilking is your typical housewife, she buys the groceries picks up the dry cleaning, host dinner parties she has a perfect life. Until she was mourning the death of her husband, during the pain of his death something awakens a part of her she didn't know existed and thats where she foung out about a life where vampire, warewolves and nephiliam warriors existed.
That's when Eli come in the picture and when I say Eli he such a sexy hunk, he is tall handsome with and attitude that just want to make you drop your penties when he talks lol.
I love it how Eli start teaching Anna what she needs to learn, and how they are drawn to each other by a bond that is old as their race. I love it how they have that sexual attraction tour each other and they can control it, and the best part is that they cant lie to each other since they could hear each other thoughts, I laugh every time I read when they listening to each other mined cause its like you body is saying something different than your mind is.
I really enjoy this book and cant wait to read more from this author, and that whe you read this book I hope that you enjoy it and love it as much as I did.
